This was my entry to the MA – Deathtrip competition that is being held each year. It is a national competition with competing youths from media-related schools all over the country. All in all, over 1500 students partook. Only 10 made it to the national final in Oslo; Norway’s capital. Not only did I make it to the final, I took second place and won 15000 NOK (1700 GBP). My game was also used in a campaign which goal it was to diminish the count of drunk drivers among the younger population. The game is currently on the AppStore and Android Market, under the name Deathtrip.
The game was made using Unity and C#, while the models were made in Maya. It was made in one and a half week, and is designed to give you a feeling for how it is to drive while being drunk.
The demonstrational video is not a part of the final product, and was made only to showcase the game.
Gullklumpen is an award ceremony we have at our school each year. This was my entry into the ident/opening category. The task was to create 5 different idents to represent the 5 different brands of media & communication at our school.
It is made primarily with the use of Cinema 4d and After Effects. Its goal is to present the different categories in an interesting and impactful way.
I made this short commercial as a part of a half-year project, in which I made a few different commercial pieces. This film was made in Cinema 4d and After Effects, and was supposed to showcase the attachment many have with their old televisions. The video was meant to convey the idea that replacing beloved objects sometimes might be necessary, even though they, from time to time, seemingly takes on a will of their own.
The text at the end says “Time for a new tv?”, and Expert is a large Nordic provider of electronic equipment, like televisions and house appliances.
For the last year I have been an intern at Qvisten, Norway’s biggest and most renowned animation studio. While I was there, one of the things I worked with was a simple game that will be released together with the animated feature Pelle På Sporet, later this spring. The game is a sidescroller in which your goal is to drive as far as possible, without draining all your battery. There will appear more batteries for you to collect as you go.
The game is made in Unity and C#, and is aimed towards kids in the 3-5 years range. The demonstrational video is only meant to showcase the game. The video runs in 25 fps while the real game runs comfortably in 60 fps.

This was a project I made on my spare time, using Maya and After Effects. The film was unfortunately never finished, as I ran into some problems with corrupted files. It was mostly prepared and animated, and there was only the rendering process left when the files got corrupted. The clips you see are early test-renders I did before the problems first occurred.
The story of the film, as well as how I wanted the final product to turn out, is explored further in the summary here.
